Lucy started her career with a large global accountancy practice in London where she qualified as a Chartered Tax advisor with Distinction. She continued to work in London for a further 13 years in various big four firms during which time she focused primarily on high net worth individuals (both UK and non UK), partnerships, trusts, estates and small businesses. In 2011, she decided to move her career out of London to have a better work life balance and since then has had regional partner roles at a boutique private client practice and a top 10 accounting firm. In July 2022, she joined the Bailhache Linton team which was more of a ‘home-coming’ after working with the partners at previous firms and on joint engagements for a number of years.
With over 25 years of experience working with private clients, there are very few tax issues facing private clients that Lucy has not dealt with before. Although, with tax being an ever-changing environment, she is always up for the challenge of looking at something new! It is that depth of experience, the ability to quickly grasp the specific issues and to calmly guide clients through complex situations that has enabled her to build up a loyal client base, many of whom have followed her when moving firms. She takes enormous pride in giving her clients superlative and pro-active client service and ensuring that her clients have every confidence that their affairs are in good hands.
